1. Main Rules
1.1 Playing on L2 Simplicity, every player accept our rules. Not knowing em is not an excuse.
1.2 We (Admins and GMs) are reserving the rule to change any of the following rules or adding a new one anytime. Everyone will be informed on forums if we do so.
1.3 We (Admins and GMs) are reserving the rule to punish and of actions which can seriously harm gameplay and they aren't included in server rules.
1.4 It is forbidden to PK in low level areas with a high level character (any low-level area with monsters of lvl 56 or lower, if player's level is 52 or lower) Punishment: 7 days BAN
1.5 PK in other situations is allowed
1.6 KS (Kill Steal) is allowed
1.7 Dualbox Forbidden for OLY and EVENTS.
2. Server Staff
2.1 Any disrespecfull, hostile and rude actions against Simplicity staff is forbidden Punishment: Permanent BAN
2.2 You have to stop any hostile actions against other players when a GM appears near you
2.3 Every staff member will have some special signs in front of his ingame nick (example [GM]Cyrax) therefore you can't be mistaken to contact other person acting like staff member.
2.4 Each jail and BAN punishment will be announced on forum in Punishment section by Admin. Each punished player have right to send 1 e-mail with apologize or explaining his situation to the person which punished him.
2.5 Every punished player by GM have right to contact Admin if he thinks that his punishment is not correct. If it was not, the punishment will be cancelled and player will receive appologize and benefit for being wrongfully punished. If the punishment was right, time of the punishment will be multiplied by 2.
3. Accounts:
3.1 Everyone is using account manager to register your account. Use proper e-mail adress in cases of forgoten password. Admin won't be giving out any passwords of accounts.
3.2 Do not share your account(s) with anyone, if you do so, gms wont be able to help you in cases of lost equip.
3.3 GMs never ask any account informations from you.
3.4. Dualbox is allowed (1 dualbox per IP)
3.5 All 3rd party softwares such as bots, clickers, etc used to automatize something ingame are FORBIDDEN Punishment: Permanent BAN
4. Bugs and exploits:
4.1 Its forbidden to use exploits for personal benefit, public speak about exploits in any type of chat Punishment: depends on seriousness of exploit, ban ranged from 7 days to permanent
4.2 If you'll find a bug or exploit, you have to report it and contact us on support[at]l2simplicity.com Benefit: slightly increased probability of lowering ban duration in case you break the rules
Bug - application error which might prevent some feature to function Exploit - a bug that can be used to gain an advantage such as blocked monsters, item duplication etc.
5. Names and Chatting:
5.1 You have to use only English language in general chat, shouts, trades and hero chat. Punishment: Short duration chat ban
5.2 Its forbidden to use names of characters, names of clans and titles such as admin,gm, names of admins and masters, announcements, etc in any form of spelling Punishment: Permanent BAN of account
5.3 Its forbidden to use names and titles which can insult other players, such as rude names, racist or sexually insulting names and titles. Punishment: Permanent BAN of character
5.4 It is forbidden to insult other players' nation, race, religion and sexuality Punishment: BAN ranged from 1 week to permanent
5.5 It is forbidden to beg for adena or items, especially from admins and masters Punishment: Chat ban, duration is higher if you beg for items from masters.
5.6 It is forbidden to attack someones real life, family, friends, etc werbally. Remember, this is a GAME Punishment: depends on seriousness of attack. BAN ranged from 7 days to permanent BAN, account BAN and deletion, IP BAN in extreme cases
6. Trading
6.1 It is forbidden to block ways, npcs such as Gatekeepers, etc with privatestores. Punishment: kick from game
6.2 It is forbidden to trick someone else to steal their items, use scam shops, etc Punishment: BAN ranged from 7 days to permanent
6.3 Its frorbidden to trade items between other servers and Simplicity Punishment: permanent BAN
6.4 It is forbidden to sell ingame items for real money Punishment: account BAN
7. Events
7.1 It is forbidden to enter an event zone (usually an arena) unless the event organizer invites you Punishment: BAN ranged from 3 to 7 days
7.2 Breaking rules of event (event organizator writes the rules of event everytime) is forbidden Punishment: BAN ranged from 3 to 7 days
7.3 Any disrespectfull actions against event organizator such as whining about prizes, hostile actions against each others in chat, hostile actions agains event organizator and etc are forbidden. Punishment: BAN ranged from 3-7 days and possibility of being restricted for event participating for long time, event permanently | | | | |
